egeplast is building the egeGigaFab at its headquarters in Greven – a new production facility for microducts. The owner-managed family business is expanding capacity for microduct pipes required for comprehensive broadband deployment (FttH/FttB) across Europe.

egeplast will acquire an additional 25 percent stake in the Swedish company Extena AB from January 2022, as announced by TREAC AB and egeplast international GmbH. After egeplast already acquired a 75 percent stake in March 2020, the Greven-based family business will now become the full owner of Extena.

In March 2020, egeplast acquired a majority stake in Extena, the market and quality leader for plastic pipes in Sweden. egeplast warmly welcomes all new members of the egeplast family and introduces Extena with Managing Director Peter Falk.
