egeplast is repositioning itself for the future. The current two-member management board will be strengthened by an additional member as of October 1, 2019. Torsten Ratzmann will join as an experienced executive for the area of Operations and Innovation. “We are pleased to have gained Torsten Ratzmann, who brings the experience to consistently drive forward our growth strategy,” says Dr. Ansgar Strumann, Managing Partner of the Greven-based plastic pipe manufacturer. “We want to continue to grow, tap into new markets and make ourselves fit for the future,” Strumann continues.

In the plastic pipe industry, egeplast is a well-known name and I am very pleased to be able to further develop the company together with all employees,” says 53-year-old Torsten Ratzmann himself. Ratzmann is moving from the management of Pöppelmann in Lohne to the plastic pipe specialist egeplast. Ratzmann studied in Osnabrück and then held various management positions at Karmann, Vorwerk, Johnson Controls, Lear Corp. and the Harting Technology Group.
