Innovative Joining Techniques
Butt Fusion Welding
In this process, the pipe ends are first faced at right angles and then uniformly heated with a heated tool (heating element). After removing the heating element, the pipe ends are pressed together under defined pressure. This creates a material-bonded, permanently tight connection. The procedure is carried out in accordance with DVS guideline 2207 and is particularly suitable for larger pipe diameters and straight connections.
Electrofusion Welding
This method uses fittings with integrated heating wires (heating coils). By applying electric current, the heating coils heat up, causing the contact surfaces between pipe and fitting to melt in a targeted manner. After cooling, a homogeneous, secure connection is formed. This technique is particularly advantageous in confined installation situations, for repairs, and for smaller pipe dimensions, as it offers simple handling and high processing reliability.

Construction Site Support
Upon request, egeplast offers both initial instruction at the start of construction and official project acceptance upon completion of the work. For specific problems, we provide short-term assistance, either digitally or in person depending on the situation. Even after construction is complete, the service team remains available. In suspected cases, leak detection is carried out or supported, and maintenance of existing monitoring technology is performed during ongoing operation.
