egeAcademy: Focus on Fittings – the Fitting Pass as a Qualification Concept

As a solution provider of pipeline systems, egeplast places great emphasis on offering its customers expert advice. To ensure this at the highest level, regular professional and technical training courses are a matter of course within the egeAcademy.

An example of such training courses is the egeplast fitting certificate. To obtain this, both the field and internal sales staff receive comprehensive training on the egeFit® fitting program, and the content is regularly refreshed afterwards.

The fitting pass consists of four modules. In these modules, ege employees deepen their knowledge of fittings and assemblies with customer-specific requirements. In no way is it limited to theory: after the basic module, the details and challenges of fitting production are deepened in multi-day practical modules. Subsequently, an external trainer from the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts conducts a module in which the welding pass is acquired.
