As a solution provider for piping systems, egeplast places great importance on offering expert advice to its customers. To ensure this at the highest level, regular professional and technical training within the framework of the egeAcademy is a matter of course.
One example of such training programs is the egeplast Fitting Passport. To obtain it, both office and field staff receive comprehensive training on the egeFit® fitting range, and the content is subsequently refreshed on a regular basis.
The Fitting Passport consists of four modules. In these modules, egeplast employees deepen their knowledge of fittings and assemblies with customer-specific requirements. By no means is this limited to theory: following the basic module, the intricacies and challenges of fitting production are explored in depth during multi-day practical modules. Subsequently, an external trainer from the Dortmund Chamber of Skilled Crafts conducts a module in which the welding certificate is obtained.
