egeplast receives the “Factory of the Year” award for “Outstanding Series Production”

Award recognises the high quality standards and exceptional performance level in the manufacture of plastic pipes for energy and water supply as well as for fibre-optic infrastructure

egeplast international GmbH, based in Greven, has been named the 2022 winner of the benchmarking competition “Factory of the Year” in the “Outstanding Series Production” category. After previous years in which the category was mainly won by corporations such as ABB AG (2021), BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (2020) or Continental Automotive GmbH (2019), this year egeplast, a medium-sized family-owned company from North Rhine-Westphalia, has taken the top spot.

“Factory of the Year” is one of the most renowned and demanding industrial competitions in Germany and Europe. The awards in the various categories are presented annually by the management consultancy Kearney in cooperation with the trade magazine “Produktion” as a benchmarking initiative for the manufacturing industry. The aim is to identify and recognise top performance by manufacturing companies.

We are very pleased to receive this award. It confirms our ambition to be the quality leader for plastic pipe systems. Successes at egeplast are always successes of the entire team. Our special thanks therefore go to our team in Greven, whose great care in their work laid the foundation for this success. The award confirms that we are on the right path to creating stable future prospects for the company through state-of-the-art production systems and securing the site.

The “Factory of the Year” award is unique in the plastics industry to date and recognises our efforts and progress within the internal ImPROVe value creation programme.
