Egeplast Receives Award as “Factory of the Year” for “Excellent Series Production”

The award recognizes the high quality standards and exceptional performance level in the production of plastic pipes for energy and water supply, as well as for fiber optic infrastructure.

egeplast international GmbH, based in Greven, has been honored as the 2022 winner in the “Outstanding Series Production” category at “The Factory of the Year” benchmarking competition. After primarily corporations such as ABB AG (2021), BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (2020), or Continental Automotive GmbH (2019) won the category in previous years, this year, egeplast, a medium-sized family business from North Rhine-Westphalia, secured the top position.

“The Factory of the Year” is one of the most renowned and demanding industrial competitions in Germany and Europe. The awards in the various categories are presented annually by the management consultancy Kearney in collaboration with the specialist magazine “Produktion” as a benchmark for the manufacturing industry. The goal is to identify and honor top achievements by manufacturing companies.

We are very pleased about this award. It confirms our claim as a quality leader for plastic pipe systems. Successes at egeplast are always successes of the entire team. Special thanks therefore go to our team in Greven, whose great diligence in their work laid the foundation for this success. The award confirms us on our path to creating stable future prospects for the company and securing the site through state-of-the-art production systems.
