The Allgemeine Bauzeitung reported on the egeNextGen program in December 2024:
With a new high-potential program, egeplast supports the further development of future specialists and managers. Two young high potentials report on their experiences and how they benefit in the international company from practical assumption of responsibility in strategic projects, from training courses, and from insights at strategy meetings.

In order to shape the infrastructure of the future, egeplast, as an employer, creates an environment in which employees can develop and fully realize their potential – knowing that the company’s success depends largely on the partnership between employees and management. Therefore, as part of the egeNextGen program, egeplast offers committed young professionals the opportunity to develop intensively over a period of twelve months and prepare for future tasks in specialist or management roles.
The egeNextGen program goes beyond pure training and pursues a comprehensive approach: It combines practical learning with strategic insights, which are made possible through close cooperation with the management. A key aspect of the program is the function of the participants as assistants to the management. In this role, they take on responsibility in strategic projects, prepare important appointments and take part in targeted further training measures. The close cooperation with the management level makes it possible to view company processes from a higher-level perspective and to learn how to plan and implement strategic initiatives in a well-founded manner.
The further development within the program also includes targeted training in areas such as leadership skills, technical skills and resilience. Through the exchange with the international locations and the active involvement in strategically important projects, the participants continuously expand their knowledge and skills.
