More than 100 top decision-makers from municipal utilities, grid infrastructure, planning, pipeline construction, and trade addressed this question at the egeplast Future Symposium “Resilient Infrastructure.” The focus was on current challenges and solutions related to supply security, digitalization, and climate protection.
With impulses from Kerstin Andreae, Dr. Stephan Albers, Dr. Ralph Donath as well as Ranga Yogeshwar and Julian Yogeshwar, and in intensive discussions during the Table Talks, it became clear:
✅ Resilience is becoming a central criterion for the planning, expansion, and operation of critical infrastructures.
✅ Energy, water, and data networks must be planned holistically and protected preventively in the future.
✅ Digitalization and AI require high-performance and reliable networks as a foundation.
✅ The overall balance of underground cable solutions looks promising.
✅ Many solutions for critical infrastructures are already available. The key is to further develop and implement them together.
🎬 Our aftermovie summarizes the highlights of the day.
Many thanks to all speakers and participants for their valuable impulses.
