Microduct Mono direct buried (db) and direct install (di)
The egeplast Microduct Mono is offered in two variants, which differ in their wall thickness.
Microduct Mono db are intended for direct burial. They are characterized by a reinforced wall thickness and high mechanical load capacity to permanently withstand the influences and stresses in the ground. The pipes in the db variant are usually installed directly in a sand bed or with additional protection and are robust against moisture, pressure, and mechanical stress.
Microduct Mono have a thinner wall thickness and are designed for installation in existing empty conduits or protection pipes to retroactively integrate fiber optic cables into existing infrastructure.
Variety of variants
Microduct egeGreen Line: The egeplast Microduct egeGreen Line series consists of up to 100% high-quality recyclates from our own PE regranulation, which correspond in functionality and quality to fiber optic protection pipes manufactured with virgin PE.
Microduct Multi ProTec: The egeplast Microduct Multi ProTec features a flexible double jacket with a modified outer layer, providing increased wear resistance and hardness. The system is designed for increased tensile forces and enables the use of trenchless installation methods.
