Microduct Mono direct buried (db) and direct install (di)
The egeplast Microduct Mono are offered in two versions that differ in their wall thickness.
Microduct Mono db are intended for direct burial. They are characterized by a reinforced wall thickness and high mechanical strength to permanently withstand the influences and loads in the soil. As a rule, the pipes in the db variant are installed directly in the sand bed or with additional protection and are robust against moisture, pressure and mechanical stress.
Microduct Mono have a lower wall thickness and are designed for installation in existing empty pipes or protective pipes in order to subsequently integrate fiber optic cables into existing infrastructure.
Variety of variants
Microduct egeGreen Line: The egeplast Microduct egeGreen Line series consists of up to 100% high-quality recyclates from our own PE regranulation, which correspond to the fiber optic protective pipes manufactured with virgin PE in terms of functionality and quality.
Microduct Multi ProTec: The egeplast Microduct Multi ProTec has a flexible double jacket with a modified outer layer, which ensures increased wear resistance and hardness. The system is designed for increased tensile forces and enables the use of trenchless installation methods.
