With the new egeGreen Line product line, egeplast is expanding its portfolio of sustainable pipe systems in the Microduct Multi sector. egeGreen Line stands for resource-saving, high-performance microduct bundles that have been specially developed for the requirements of modern telecommunications and broadband infrastructures. With egeGreen Line, egeplast is responding to the increasing demand for sustainable solutions in fiber optic expansion. The product line enables customers to achieve their own sustainability goals and position themselves in the competition as environmentally conscious providers. egeGreen Line offers clear added value, especially for public tenders and projects with sustainability requirements.

egeGreen Line is part of the proven Microduct Multi family and is aimed at network operators, civil engineering companies and Design Engineers who value environmental compatibility and future security. The focus is on consistent, high material quality and process reliability with a high proportion of recycled material. In this way, egeGreen Line offers a future-proof solution that combines ecological responsibility with technical excellence. The product line is characterized by the following features:

Sustainability

egeGreen Line consists of up to 100% high-quality recycled materials, thus reducing the CO₂ footprint compared to conventional products.

The use of recycled plastics conserves fossil resources – without compromising product quality.

Technical performance: egeGreen Line meets all relevant norms and standards for microduct systems and corresponds to the virgin PE variant (made of new material) in terms of functionality and quality.

Four Variants for Maximum Flexibility

The new product line consists of four variants that differ in terms of the proportion and position of the recycled materials used, thus offering maximum flexibility for sustainable fiber optic infrastructure projects:

1. egeGreen Line Core: In this variant, the inner pipes of the bundle consist of recycled materials. The outer jacket consists of Virgin PE.

2. egeGreen Line Sheath: Here, the outer jacket of the microduct bundle consists of recycled material, while the inner pipes are of conventional design.

3. egeGreen Line Ultimate: In this version, both the inner pipes and the jacket are made entirely of recycled materials. This variant achieves the maximum recycling proportion and the lowest CO₂ footprint.

4. egeGreen Line Custom: This variant makes it possible to individually determine which elements of the bundle should consist of recycled material, and to optimally adapt the product to project- or customer-specific requirements.

Circular Economy for a Sustainable Infrastructure

Against the background of increasingly scarce primary resources, egeplast demonstrates with the egeGreen Line how a closed recycling loop can be successfully achieved in the processing of plastic and sets an example for sustainable infrastructure development.
