The product portfolio for power cables covers medium voltage to high and extremely high voltage cables. The materials used are designed to withstand the partially very high thermic stress for extended periods of time.
Protective pipe for high and extra high voltage cables
ege-com® Macroduct High-T is a protective pipe made from polyethylene, which is used for high and extra high voltage cables up to 380 kV. The protective pipe has an increased thermal stability due to a special PE-HD material, in order to withstand high thermal loads for a long period of time. Due to this the electricity distributors can ensure a long service life of their grid.
Protective pipe made from polypropylene for high and extra high voltage cables up to 380 kV
The ege-com® Macroduct High-T PP is a protective pipe made from polypropylene with a socket for an economic installation in an open trench. The tight system is used for high and extra high voltage cables up to 380 kV. In order to withstand sustained high thermal loads, the system is made of a modified PP material which provides an enhanced thermal stability. Due to this the electricity Distributors can ensure a long Service life of their grid.
Protective pipes for power cables up to 30 kV
The ege-com® Macroduct protective pipe of polyethylene is used for power cables in the medium-voltage range up to 30 kV.
