egeplast Power Protect PE
Protective pipe for high and extra high voltage cables
The egeplast Power Protect PE (former ege-com®Microduct High-T) is a protective pipe made from polyethylene, which is used for high and extra high voltage cables up to 380 kV. The protective pipe has an increased thermal stability due to a special PE-HD material, in order to withstand high thermal loads for a long period of time. Due to this the electricity distributors can ensure a long service life of their grid.
Product features
- Higher temperature range than standard PE pipes following DVS 2201-1
- Longer service life at higher temperature load than PE pipes according to DIN 8074
- Monitored and certified by TÜV-Süd
- Weldedable
- Flexible and ductile
