Among other tasks, production processes are to be optimised, e. g. faster changeover times to establish improved flexibility which enables us to meet customer demands without lowering the familiar egeplast quality standards. At the same time, we want to press forward with the modernisation of our production facilities using state-of-the-art technological approaches. More digitalisation and structuring of the processes involved support our employees’ day-to-day operations. Of course, requirements related to product developments will also be taken into consideration in this programme, along with specific preferences on the part of the staff and our entire environment. The goal has been defined, and, using a number of methods from the Lean Management System, we will address the challenges step by step. Qualified colleagues are the foundation on which this programme rests. Along with the completion of the first training of our Lean Advisors (see photograph), we have created the basis, and more trainings focusing on promoting more understanding for the continuous improvement process among the staff will follow. Implementing the path we have begun to pursue together in our daily operations will be our mission for the months to come. Becoming better every day is our basic driver in doing so.
