Pioneer in the area of energy efficiency

egeplast places the greatest value on protecting the environment and energy resources. At the beginning of May the moment had arrived. In addition to renewed certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 for environmental management systems, for the first time the egeplast energy management system was also certified to DIN EN ISO 50001:2011. This makes egeplast a pioneer in the area of energy efficiency for the entire plastic pipe industry. Within two years, egeplast has been able to reduce both the energy and water needed to produce a metre of pipe by a two-digit % amount.
