Thanks to tracer wires integrated into the pipe wall, egeplast wastewater pipes such as the 3L Leak Control and the SLM® DCS can be permanently monitored. They report even the smallest damage in real time. Leaks can be located precisely, even during operation and without an external power supply. My experience with egeplast dates back to the last century – back then at the old location in Emsdetten, where I had the pleasure of getting to know the Strumann family.

Even at that time, the production of PE pipes up to a diameter of 630 mm was impressive.

The mutual trust, the personal interaction and the consistently solution-oriented cooperation were always particularly noticeable.

Our company was founded in 2001, at the same time as the construction of the new plant in Greven. My first impression at the time was simply: “WOW.”

The dimensions of the production became larger and larger, the HDPE market grew in parallel, for both of us, up to today’s pipe sizes of 1600 mm. And the new generation is continuing this excellently.

Everyone who visits egeplast is thrilled by how the “egeplast family” runs the company.

A few weeks ago, I was on site together with a customer. Throughout the visit, he emphasized that he had seen many PE pipe manufacturers, but egeplast was the “Rolls-Royce” so far, in the absolutely positive sense.
In addition, egeplast always wants to develop and improve – and not everyone does that by far.

egeplast has now been around for over 100 years, and I am convinced that another 100 years can easily be added.
