The construction of a wastewater transport pipeline for the discharge of wastewater from a newly established industrial plant via a pumping station into an adjacent sewage treatment plant presented all parties involved with major challenges.

The new leakage-monitored wastewater pressure pipeline at the Söse Dam, intended to replace the old asbestos cement pipe, had to be routed through drinking water protection zones of classes I and II.
