Egeplast Pipe Systems are H2ready

The Gas Technology Institute DBI gGmbH in Freiberg (DBI) has awarded egeplast the H2ready warranty mark for the egeplast 9010® RC and egeplast SLM® 3.0 gas pipes, following the completion of tests and submission of all relevant documents.

For several decades, DBI has been an accredited and DVGW-recognized testing laboratory for gas appliances and fittings. To ensure a secure supply of emission-free hydrogen in the future, DBI has gained experience and established testing rules based on national and international research projects, which the egeplast 9010® RC and egeplast SLM® 3.0 gas pipes fulfill. As part of a joint research project with a major gas supplier, a pipe construction improved with regard to permeation and featuring an integrated barrier layer was also tested and is now permitted to bear the H2ready warranty mark.

With egeplast pipe systems featuring this barrier layer, emission losses can be minimized in the future.
