To enable more efficient long-term use of the valuable resource water, the Consorzio di Bonifica Veronese decided to construct an irrigation system for agricultural purposes.

The construction of a wastewater transport pipeline for the discharge of wastewater from a newly established industrial plant via a pumping station into an adjacent sewage treatment plant presented all parties involved with major challenges.

For the connection to the central sewage treatment plant on the Císařský Island in Prague, a pipeline was laid under the Vltava River using the HDD method. Tight bending radii made pipe insertion difficult, and the geological conditions were unstable due to the slate rock.

Esslingen municipal utility rehabilitated an old cast iron pipeline trenchlessly using burstlining. They were able to significantly reduce effort and costs compared to traditional rehabilitation methods. Due to the high requirements, they used the egeplast SLM® DCT pipe system with integrated quality inspection.
