Polyethylene pipes have been established for decades for the construction and renewal of distribution networks for natural gas. However, polyethylene pipes are also suitable for the transport of hydrogen. In addition to the DVGW certificate for gas pipes, the DBI confirms the successful testing with 100% hydrogen. All egeplast gas pipes bear the H2ready warranty mark.
