The QuickSwitch system, developed by our former operations manager Herbert Ulrich, sets new global standards in production by enabling the continuous change of pipe dimension and wall thickness during ongoing production. And this with maximum precision. At the touch of a button, the dimensions of the extruded pipes can be changed at any time in just a few minutes. The high flexibility of the system ensures short delivery times and enables cost-effective production of even smaller batch sizes due to significantly reduced downtimes.

The full automation of the QuickSwitch line was carried out in close cooperation with Krauss-Maffei. The world market leader for plastics machinery is a licensee of egeplast and distributes QuickSwitch extrusion lines for PE and PVC pipes worldwide.
