For a new main supply line, the city of Devin used the egeplast pipe system egeTherm® High-T for the first time. Over a total length of 12 km, 70°C hot water is now transported into the city.

Bulgaria has over 700 mineral springs. Around Devin in the Rhodope Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, hot mineral springs predominate. These mineral waters are suitable for the treatment and prevention of various diseases and are used by the wellness and spa centers located there. The mineral water “Devin” of the same name is also bottled here.
The egeTherm® High-T pipe system can safely transport media at temperatures of up to 70°C continuously, with an operating life of 50 years. Short-term heating up to 95°C is also possible.
The new PN16 pipelines OD 125 mm and OD 140 mm now replace an asbestos cement pipeline from 1962.
