How would you describe your role as an IT Application Consultant and Developer at egeplast?
My role as an IT Application Consultant and Developer at egeplast is versatile and demanding. In my position, I am responsible for advising on and supporting the implementation and optimization of IT applications that make business processes more efficient.
What challenges does your work as an IT Application Consultant and Developer entail?
The role brings a variety of challenges. One of the biggest is understanding complex requirements from different departments and translating them into effective IT solutions. This requires a deep technical understanding as well as the ability to think and communicate interdisciplinarily.
How does your work support the other departments at egeplast?
My work makes a significant contribution to supporting all departments at egeplast, as IT services form the central backbone of numerous business processes. I ensure that IT applications function seamlessly and are optimally tailored to the specific needs of the departments. This enables teams to work more efficiently, automate their processes, and make data-driven decisions more quickly.
How do you perceive the ege corporate culture?
I perceive the ege corporate culture as very positive and secure, as it feels like a family environment. It is clear that the company places great value on cohesion, trust, and mutual support. This familial atmosphere creates a sense of security where employees can not only develop professionally but also personally.
An example of this is that last week I received a thank-you email from our CEO (Ansgar). This recognition meant a lot to me and further motivated me to continue doing my best.
What makes a successful workday for you?
For me, a successful workday primarily means making the daily work of colleagues easier through my efforts. If, through my IT services and developments, I can contribute to daily operations running more smoothly and efficiently, I consider that a great success.
How do you spend your free time and what are your hobbies?
I prefer to spend my free time with my family. Time with my loved ones gives me strength and is the perfect balance to my working day. Furthermore, the world of new technologies and highly automated processes fascinates me and constantly sparks my curiosity.
