The web calculator developed by egeplast provides project managers with a quick yet detailed cost comparison. For many design offices and utility companies, the web calculator has already established itself as a guide for deciding whether a construction project should be planned using open construction methods or trenchless installation. In no time at all, our pipe systems can be compared for any combination of installation method and application, including all costs on and off the construction site.
Easy operation for everyone involved
Installation lengths, diameters, and installation depths are entered on the homepage. SDR, delivery forms, and delivery lengths can then be specified for each pipe. The web calculator quickly determines which of the two methods under consideration is more economical in terms of the pre-calculated construction site costs. In the clearly structured overview, the user can also see immediately where the cost advantages of the respective method lie. Calculated projects can also be saved and accessed again at any time for further processing. The web calculator can compare seven installation methods: open trench installation with and without sand bedding, horizontal directional drilling (HDD), milling and plowing methods, burst lining, and relining.
