Innovative connection techniques

Heated tool butt welding
In this process, the pipe ends are first planned at right angles and then heated evenly with a heated tool (heating element). After removing the heating element, the pipe ends are pressed together under defined pressure. This creates a cohesive, permanently tight connection. The execution takes place in accordance with the DVS guideline 2207 and is particularly suitable for larger pipe diameters and straight connections.

Electrofusion welding
In this process, fittings with integrated heating wires (heating coils) are used. By applying electrical current, the heating coils heat up, causing the contact surfaces between the pipe and fitting to melt in a targeted manner. After cooling, a homogeneous, secure connection is formed. This technology is particularly advantageous in confined installation situations, for repairs and for smaller pipe dimensions, as it offers easy handling and high processing reliability.
Always at your side – even directly on site
Every construction site brings its own challenges: unexpected soil conditions, tight schedules, difficult installation situations or unclear specifications. In such moments, what counts is a partner who not only delivers, but also thinks along and helps out.
On-site support: With technical instruction at the start of construction, as well as welding machine service and rental. Whether clamping inserts for multi-layer pipe systems, modern CNC-controlled electrofusion welding machines or equipment for PE pipe systems such as internal and external bead removers – customers can rent the appropriate equipment from egeplast to suit the project.

Construction site support
On request, egeplast offers you both initial training at the start of construction and an official construction acceptance test at the end of the project. In the event of specific problems, we provide short-term assistance, either digitally or in person, depending on the situation. The service team is also available even after construction has been completed. In suspected cases, leak detection is carried out or supported, and the maintenance of existing monitoring technology is carried out during ongoing operation.

Welding machine service and rental
Another part of the egeplast service range is our comprehensive welding machine fleet.
