As a family business, we take on social responsibility. The well-being of the people in our region is very important to us. Our social commitment aims to make a difference where help is needed in the long term. egeplast is involved through active voluntary work in committees and through contributions and donations, including to the following institutions:

egeplast donates to the Emsdetten-Grevener Tafel of Caritas

In times of rising living costs, egeplast would like to thank the Tafeln for their great work and supports the Emsdettener-Grevener Tafel of Caritas with a donation.

egeplast donates to the Aktionsbündnis Katastrophenhilfe for humanitarian and medical care in Ukraine

Due to the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, a humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding before our eyes. Many innocent people are dependent on support and donations.

egeplast supports the health sector

As a family business, the health of the people in our region is important to us. egeplast therefore supports the health sector and donated to three institutions in the Münster region for the expansion of a cornea bank, for an intensive care unit for premature babies and sick newborns, and for a palliative care unit.

Sporting commitment at egeplast

egeplast supports the TV Emsdetten handball club with an extensive sponsorship package.

Benefits for egeplast Employees

In order to thank the employees for their outstanding commitment and as an expression of appreciation, the family business traditionally invites all employees and their families to the egeplast summer festival every 3 years. Under the motto egeFestival, more than 500 egeplast employees and their families recently celebrated in September 2025 on the egeplast company premises in Greven and cheered on the teams at the egeCup in the egeArena, the company’s own soccer court.

The annual egeplast Christmas party – since 2022 it has been celebrated as a Christmas market on the company premises in Greven. With Christmas music and icy outside temperatures, more than 250 employees then visit the decorated Christmas stands with mulled wine, crêpes and many other delicacies and warm up again at the subsequent party in the egeBistro.

Personal contacts with all colleagues at the site are cultivated every day in the egeBistro, the heart of the company headquarters in Greven. It is the central meeting point for all employees, customers, business partners and external guests. Here, egeplast offers a varied breakfast as well as two healthy lunch menus and a salad buffet every day, which are available to the more than 500 egeplast employees with a subsidy. Water dispensers and personal drinking bottles for all employees help to avoid disposable cups and bottles. A free supply of fruit is available for employees in production and logistics.

For the health and well-being of its employees, egeplast also offers financial support for retirement and supplementary pensions, regular company health promotion measures, protection of employees through regular safety training and sporting compensation in the egeArena, the company’s own soccer court.

The in-house egeAcademy offers all employees opportunities for personal and professional development, for example in personal effectiveness, leadership or lean management, as well as German and English courses from the inlingua language school (Münster location) and regularly held junior development training courses for egeplast trainees by the Young Pro Academy.

For almost 120 years, egeplast has been offering families in the region a long-term secure job. Some families are even represented at egeplast with several generations – such as the Dieks family. In November, the management traditionally thanks the loyal employees at a festive ceremony honoring the anniversary employees for their good cooperation.
