Corrosion resistance
Corrosion causes annual damage amounting to 3% of the gross national product (Source: WCO World Corrosion Organisation). Plastic pipe systems do not corrode and exhibit high resistance to aggressive media. Therefore, they offer high operational safety, are robust, and yet flexible.
Abrasion resistance
The egeplast PE pipe systems are designed for the hydraulic and pneumatic transport of abrasive bulk materials due to their low wall roughness and good abrasion resistance. In addition, flexible, ductile, and corrosion-resistant pipe materials can be installed cost-effectively.
Static charge dissipation
When pneumatically transporting dusts and powdery solids and in potentially explosive atmospheres, the electrostatic charging of pipes, containers, and plant components must be avoided for the safety of people and the environment through suitable protective measures. When static charges occur, pipe systems are needed that safely dissipate the charge.
