since the start of the war in the Middle East at the end of February, the raw materials market has been thrown into turmoil. As a plastics processor, we are directly affected by the consequences.
We are not only confronted with an unprecedented surge in prices for raw materials, energy, and diesel, but also with the termination of price agreement mechanisms that have been in place for decades.
For instance, we are currently only receiving price commitments from raw material suppliers for one week. We are doing everything in our power to ensure security of supply for our customers.
