Plastic pipe manufacturer sets a course for growth – Steffen Saur becomes member of the management board

The current two-member management team of the plastic pipe manufacturer egeplast will be strengthened by another member as of September 1, 2022. Steffen Saur will join the company as an internationally experienced leader for the areas of sales, product management and marketing.

“We are pleased to have gained a top-class manager in Steffen Saur, who is able to consistently drive forward our growth strategy,” says Dr. Ansgar Strumann, Managing Partner of the Greven-based plastic pipe manufacturer. “We want to grow, approach new markets and make ourselves fit for the future. Mr. Saur has repeatedly implemented these tasks successfully under complex conditions,” Strumann continued.

Saur, 49, joins egeplast from the Saurer Group, an international mechanical engineering company. He previously held successful management positions at thyssenkrupp, Oerlikon, Hochtief and Vaillant, among others. Saur completed his academic education at the University of Mainz as well as Harvard Business School.
