egeplast at IFAT: Innovations for the infrastructure megatrends
From hydrogen transport to electricity and broadband supply – at IFAT in Munich, egeplast is presenting pipe systems for the infrastructure megatrends.
A top topic at the stand will be the certified egeplast Hydrogen Pipe systems for the high-performance transport of hydrogen. The focus here is on the HexelOne® Hydrogen Pipe. The transport pipe for hydrogen offers increased pressure stability thanks to its special mono-composite structure and is suitable for trenchless installation methods. This makes it predestined for the environmentally friendly construction of the hydrogen infrastructure.
Another highlight is the 3L Leak Control, a permanently monitored safety pipe system for liquid or gaseous media that reports and locates damage – even without mains-dependent power. It offers 100 percent leak monitoring for soil and water protection. Alarm messages are sent directly to the control centre or smartphone and can be viewed online. This enables the operator to react quickly.
Further product innovations such as the SLM® DCS (Damage Control System) early warning system for the protection of drinking water transport pipelines and the Smart Connect connection technology for cable conduit systems in the extra-high voltage range up to 525 kV await visitors to the egeplast stand.
