egeplast expands its management team – Ratzmann joins the management board

egeplast is in the process of reorganising itself for the future. From 1st October 2019 onwards, its management team of two will now be joined by another member. Torsten Ratzmann, a seasoned executive, will be in charge for Operations and Innovation. “We are happy that we have been able to recruit Torsten Ratzmann for this position, a man who has the experience we need to consistently pursue our growth strategy”, commented Dr. Ansgar Strumann, Managing Director of the Greven-based plastic pipes manufacturer. “We want to continue our expansion, tap into new markets and become fit for the future”, Strumann continued.

In the plastic pipes industry, egeplast is a reputable player, and I am very pleased to have the privilege of being able to advance the development of the company even further together with the entire staff”, 53-year-old Torsten Ratzmann himself stated. Ratzmann has left his position as CEO of Pöppelmann in Lohne and will join plastic pipes specialist egeplast. After having completed his studies in Osnabrück, Ratzmann worked for Karmann, Vorwerk, Johnson Controls, Lear Corp. and die Harting Technology Group in a number of leadership positions.
